Before the application of any act in the country it is necessary to get it approved by the Indian Parliament. Indian Parliament consists of three major bodies, The President of India, The Rajya Sabha and The Lok Sabha. The President is elected by the members of the both houses and respective legislative members of each state.
The members of the Rajya Sabha are elected by the members of legislative assembly of each state, where as the members of Lok Sabha are elected in the general elections held after every years, by the citizens of the country.
