Chennai Airport

Chennai Airport also known as Madras Airport is the gateway to south by the means of air transport. Located at Tirisulam, which is 7 km in south of Chennai. The airport operates two separate terminals Kamraj and Anna International Terminal for national and international visitors respectively.

Of the two terminals the Kamraj Terminal caters the needs of national visitors, thus connecting Chennai with 20 cities within the country. Besides, the Indian Airlines and Air India the private air lines such as Air Deccan, Air India Express, Air Sahara, Go Air, Indian, Indigo, Jet Air, Kingfisher, Paramount and  Spicejet also operate their services from the same terminal and have liaison office within the terminal.

The another terminal known as Anna International Terminal takes care of the International passengers. Thus, connecting the Chennai Airport to various International Destinations namely Bahrain , Bangkok, Dahran, Dubai , Frankfurt , Jeddah, Kula Lampur, Kuwait , London , Mauritius, Muscat , Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore and Sri Lanka.

Apart from Indian Airlines and Air India the International airlines have also their offices located at the terminal to cater the needs of the passengers visiting to these countries. The British Airways, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Malaysian Airlines, Air Lanka, Oman Air, Gulf Air and Saudia Airlines have also their offices in the terminal.
